WOW! 2nd trimester already, its crazy isnt it? or maybe its just me! I still dont feel that pregnant -have not told ANYONE, not even family. -dont really look pregnant most of the time, my waist is just thicker and if i havent had a huge meal its easy to hide. I saw the baby on u/s last week and the doc picked up heartbeat with doppler. I will officially be 14 weeks next week. Hows everyone else doing?

Ca__sieSong - April 19

Hi blessed! Doing well here myself. I definitely have the baby bump going on. Everyone knows with me! I even have customers asking when I'm due. I knew I wouldn't be able to hide it much past 8-10 weeks. But I'm happy about that. I like a baby bump. So cool about your ultrasound! Isn't it wonderful to see/hear the heartbeat? I go again for another check up this week and will hear the heartbeat once again, this time on dopplar. The next appointment after this one will be the second ultrasound to determine the s_x. Can't wait! We know what we want to name her if she's a girl.... but are still somewhat undecided if it's a boy. Do you have any names picked out?

Hey girls :) 12w4days...I'm jumping over...oh well ;) Everything is going quite well over here. Starting to feel better!! I am semi-showing, a guy at meijer asked me what I was having! 2nd kid though, so I guess that happens. Face is still broken out, and my bbs still hurt...still takin Zofran to relieve my Morning sickness....soo other than that great Had my second ultrasound last week. HB was 168, little baby did not move ONE time for me during ultrasound...kinda sad, but I guess they were sleeping lol. Hope you are all doing well!

Hi again girls, so funny about the showing thing. We went camping over the weekend and I felt like I popped while camping, but we are back home and i feel smaller again. I feel like IM the odd one out with #3 and not really showing yet!! With #2 I was showing so early, and into maternity pants at 6-8 wks. I am 14 wks and still in tight pants, they are snug though. Who knows. My first was a girl, then boy. So maybe its another girl. I dont know that i really have a preferance, they are both so wonderful and unique. I would love another girl, esp since my daughter would be thrilled with a sister... so i hope its a girl for her. Funny huh? I dont think I will find out the s_x before birth this time. Have not talked to dh about that but think we will wait. Wanting to tell my kiddos and family soon... probably will! Babys heartrate was 175 around 10 wks, 160s at 12w and now at 14w is around 150s. I am still getting sick in the evenings. Another thing i never had, esp this late in the pregnancy with my other 2. Bad acne. I use a concealer stick- love it. Other than that feeling good. Hows everyone else?

Hi Gals! Glad to hear things are going well with you two. I'm doing well too. I had another doc appt yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat. I'm coming up on 15 weeks now. The hb was about 158 or so. Really nice to hear since even though my belly is growing, sometimes I still doubt there is a little baby in there. Silly, I know. Hayley, sorry your little one didn't move around at all, but it must have been taking a nap, eh? Still having the morning sickness? Wow... hope it lets up soon for ya. Blessed, some days I feel bigger than other days too. I guess it is the bloating. I always get bigger after I eat though. And some clothes show it more than others as well. Tell the kiddos!! I want to hear their reactions. :-) Hubby and I are going to bring our 4 year old daughter to the next ultrasound in 4 weeks. Then we will all find out the s_x of the baby together. I think it'll be so cool do experience that as a family. Our dd is excited to "see" the baby on the monitor too and to find out if it is a boy or girl. She is wishing for a girl, but I'm sure she'll be fine with a boy.

Hi ladies, exciting to 'upgrade' to this forum : ) I'll be 16wks tommorow and definately showing. Bought my 1st maternity top the other day and got the comfiest yoga pants, elastic waistbands are my new best friend! I've decided not to find out the s_x of the baby, I really feel like it's a little girl but I'm happy to wait and see. Househunting at the moment and may have found the perfect place so fingers crossed. Still can't believe this pregnancy's going so well, I was a bit nauesus in the beginning but havn't vomited once (touchwood), and feeling a little less tired now which is great. Just really stoked that I might soon get to be a mum. Hope everyone else is doing great xxx

Ca__sieSong - April 30

15 weeks 4 days here... and doing well. Babmama- glad you are doing so well too. Good luck on the house hunting! You may have put an offer in already by this time. Hubby and I were closing on a house very early in my first pregnancy (didn't even know I was expecting at the time). Baby, new home... all big changes, but very exciting! As it is, we feel crowded in our home now. As soon as this baby arrives, this house will be full. We will manage, but we are thinking that some day we might want to move to a bigger place (if the economy gets better). I need some yoga pants too! Supposedly I have two pair, but I cannot find them for the life of me! I love those pants and they are so comfy... especially now. Hope to hear from you all soon!

acheplick - May 8

Hello Everyone, I am currently at 17 weeks. I hope everyone is doing well. I have a doctors appointment this tuesday and will get to hear the heartbeat for the third time. So far the heartbeat has been at 160 the two times before. I am starting to get a baby bump. This is my first and it just seems so strange to be carrying a baby. I can't feel any movement yet but am waiting very impatiently.

blessedbythree - May 8

Ache, congrats on your first baby! It is so exciting, I remember feeling sooooo impatient for everything with my first, and it was so awesome experiencing all those things for the very first time. I bet you will start feeling little flutters very soon! I was right around 19 weeks when I could barely feel what felt like little flutters with my first.

blessedbythree - May 8

Good luck on your u/s ca__sie! I love how a baby is somehow even more exciting when there are little siblings to be so excited too! Speaking of which... We told our kids last week! DH said would you guys like to know a big surprise? and he gave them the clue of crib (which didnt work, our 2 yo is still in a crib and then thought it was bedtime) so he said crib and bottle and my daughter guessed BABY?? It was so cute. Their reactions seemed totally surprised and happy after they thought about it. Of course my dd really wants a girl, but sometimes says either is okay. I went to my 16 week checkup this past week and found out my OB is leaving- so i will be switching to a CNM at the same clinic. We scheduled the U/S for in 3 weeks. I am trying to figure out HOW to convince DH to not find out the gender until birth. I mentioned it to him and he didnt seem too excited about not finding out. I think it would be a lot more exciting for my daughter, and me, to find out once baby is born. Either way we will be so happy cause there will be a baby =) I am almost 17 weeks now, and I think I have started feeling little weird movements/bumps/flutters this past week. I also notice my uterus now! Before I wasnt even sure if it was above my pubic bone, now when I lay in bed I can feel a little swell right below my belly b___ton. Its so weird, it still almost doesnt seem like there is a baby in there. The heartrate was at 170-180 at 12 weeks and has continually dropped, now at 16 weeks its around 145. I wonder what the heartrate was with my daughter and son, I dont think they ever said but I rented a digital doppler that tells me this time. BAB, GL on the house! We almost moved, and decided to stay and sign our lease. Im relieved to stay in the same spot. The nauesus every evening seems to have died down, around 15 weeks. I love not feeling sick every evening.

babmama - May 10

Hi ladies : ) I'm at 18 weeks now and definately feeling movement. First felt it at the end of 16 weeks but wasn't quite sure if that's what I was feeling but definately know now! I've heard so many people say it feels like a fluttering feeling but with me it's mostly a definate kick or poke (maybe baby's gonna be a kung fu champion!!) when I put my hand over it the other day I could even feel it on my hand which was awesome. It's so rea__suring and I notice I'm talking a lot more to the baby now, think it's just seeming more real. Hope this finds everyone well and happy, talk soon xxx

I am 18w2d and yesterday had my U/S. We have a little baby sister!!Yay I am so excited. I am definitely feeling movement, felt the most yesterday during the U/S while the tech had the probe on my and the baby kicked against it with my full bladder. I jumped and the us tech wondered what happened. BABMAMA- Congrats on the movement! Isnt it cool? I think this baby is much less active and much smaller than my last, but Im thinking it must be my girls are less active and smaller and i think i carry the girls different than my son. Are you waiting to find out the gender til birth? I wanted to wait, but hubby insisted on knowing, and once he went down there and I saw the three little lines before he could even say it I asked if that was the three lines? He was surprised I knew, and I said to my daughter and hubby and son, Its a baby girl!!! I am glad we found out now, since thats what my little girl wanted, and I was leaning toward wanting a girl mainly for her. I am relieved and glad we found out even though I didnt want to know!

blessedbythree - May 21

How is everyone else? This board is not as active as the last time I was pregnant. Is anyone active on any other pregnancy forums?

Kre87 - May 25

Hi ladies, I am new to this thread, currently 17 wks and 2 days, getting to the 2nd trimester was huge for us bc we have lost 4 pregnancies before this, and just recently found out due to mthfr. I have been super blessed this pregnancy ultrasounds every other week, and we found out at 15 weeks its a girl! !and also at 13 weeks my tech said I'd feel the baby move early bc my placenta was low lying, and at exactly 15 weeks I felt her, and its getting more regular now, I am due oct 31, but as of now my csec date is oct 24 for medical reasons I can't do a vbac. I can't wait to compare pregnancies and congrats for making it to your 2nd trimester everyone!

Ca__sieSong - June 10

Blessed- you're right. This time this thread is not too active. I'm not active on any other boards, though I do have a few other friends (in other states) who are expecting, plus those who have babies themselves. So I keep in touch with them. Congrats on the baby girl! So exciting. How old is your daughter? We found out we are having a baby boy!!! So we have our 4 year old girl and now a baby boy on the way. I am soooo excited... as is everyone. I began feeling movement at about 16 weeks, then nothing for a while. Now I feel it all the time at 20 weeks. Found out I have an anterior placenta, so the placenta is in front and kept me from feeling regular movement in the beginning. Everything is fine though and all seems well. I am huge though. I look like 6 or 7 months preggo. I've gained about 11 lbs so far. Kre87- welcome to the group. It can be pretty quiet around here. I suppose everyone is busy. Congrats on your pregnancy though and that you have a baby girl on the way. :-) Ultrasounds every othe week? Wow... that is pretty cool to be able to see your baby that often. Glad things are going well. Babamama- congrats on feeling movement as well. It DOES make it all seem real, doesn't it? Love it! Hope to hear from you all more as we progress.

haburkey - June 11

Wow! It has been forever!! I am 20w1d...it's a BOY :) Found out Monday! I also have a front lying placenta, feel movement, but not too much...baby is looking fantastic!!! Have only gained 6 pounds so far due to my extreme sickness! ohhhhhh that's fine with me! soo anyways, all is well here! Peeing a lot, my face cleaned up acne wise :) Hallllla.
