I am currently 23 weeks and I am having pain on my right lower side near my hip bone when i stand up. When I sit down it feels better. I don't think its anything like my apenndix because i am not running a fever or vomiting. SOuld I call my OB doctor?

I had that pain with my first, and now my second pregancy, too. My doctor said it is probably ligament pain or nerve pain. They told me to try to stand and take stretch breaks if I've had to sit for awhile.

I dont think it would hurt any to call your doctor and just describe to her whats going on, it never hurts to be cautious :)
Good Luck

I have a similar pain, it usually occurs when I've been standing a lot for a couple of days in a row (every week while I'm at work). My doctor said mine could be a weakness in the connective tissue from a previous surgery.
