I am 20 weeks pregnant and have been feeling contractions for 4 days. I went to the dr this afternoon and he said I have a pelvic infection that is causing contractions, but that he isn't sure what caused the infection. I've never had a history of pelvic infections and tests for STI's that typically cause pelvic infections are negative. I've never had an abortion, but had a daughter 16 months ago and a miscarriage 4 months before I got pregnant this time. Does anyone know anything about pelvic infections? Can this hurt my baby???
