I think it all depends on the growth of the baby...One of my gf's found out at 18 weeks and the other found out in her 30th week.
I'm 19 weeks and I just went for my ultrasound the other day and the dr told me to wait a few more weeks because of several reason. 1) The baby was not co-operating and was a bit shy 2) The baby is still small 3) They didn't want to make a mistake.
I'll prob go back when I'm around 23 weeks, just so I can be that much more sure.

Well, I work at a college. And an instructor there did an ultrasound on me to determine the s_x of my baby when I was only 15 weeks.
We are praying for a girl because we have 5 boys already. At first she was not sure, and then she said that it was a boy. I wonder was she right? Could she tell that early in the pregrancy?
