Hi. I am 16 weeks and recently I have been experiencing weird va___al dryness, burning and discomfort. When I sit down, it feels like something is there. Like a bump or something. Hard to explain. Searched the internet andI was worried about incompetent cervix, but went to the doc and had ultrasound, internal and external, but all was normal. No history of IC. No yeast infection either. The weird feelings haven't gone away. Feel like I am going crazy because I feel so weird but things seem to be normal.I have experienced va___al dryness on and off since my first pregnancy (this is my third). Any ideas? Can't find anyone experiencing this anywhere...

HI! I'm 17 weeks pg and feel strange things down there! I was worried about my cervix too since I've had a couple D&C's and a leep done but all is well with my cervix. From what I've researched online is that there is a lot of extra blood flowing around causing the vulva to become engorged with blood. Maybe what you are feeling is swelling down there from all the blood which is causing you to feel what you are feeling. I worry about the weird sensations but knowing I just had an u/s and all is well I'm trying not to think about it! Oh, could be varicose veins too! Some women get them down there!

Thanks to Allie P. Nice to know I am not the only one out there. Actually, I went to the ob again today because something was weird, and found out my uterus is really low. That caused the constant peeing and pressure. He inserted a pesary ring and said i have to take it easy and he will remove it in about a month. Not too common, but sometimes it happens. Hopefully, this will help.

Whats a Pesary ring? I pee about every two hours. Its so annoying especially at night. I never get a full nights sleep. Does the ring help move the uterus up or something? I've never heard of it before!

Yeah, thats right. The same thing happened after my second child was born. The uterus was really loose and actually came out a bit. The doctor put a pesary ring in, and pushed it up. Kept in in a few weeks. This time he said that around 20 weeks the uterus is big enough to worry about it sagging, so he will take the ring out then. I was peeing like every 30 minutes. Doc said that the sagging uterus made me feel weird and pee all the time. Dont know if this is what you have, but might help to ask. By the way, I live in Japan, so maybe we do things differently over here!! Good luck.
