I just got my sugar levels tested. The Doc said they were high and I have to take more tests. Has anyone else have that problem?

was this the glucose test....I went in yesterday for a regular prenatal test and my sugar came back high +1 in my urine.... I will have to take 3 hour glucose in 3 weeks to see if I have gestational diabetes.

Monica it was the glucose test and I too will have to do a three test not sure when. I worry about gestational diabetes I can find awhole about it.

rae, how many weeks are you? if I dont pa__s my 3 hour test I will need to be on a special diet. I am not looking forward to any of this.

I have heard about "spilling" sugar in pregnancy. I guess there is just too much of the goodness out there. I never had a problem with it, but my friend said that she had gestational diabetis in all three of her pregnancies. And all the boys were fine. Good luch to you!

Lots of people "fail" the one hour test, and do fine on the three hour test. I did three times in my first pregnancy. When you go for the three hour test, you might take someone with you. I felt so shaky that I couldn't drive myself home, but I don't know if that's a common problem or if I'm just strange.
