Good morning ladies! (FYI, I know the t_tle grammar is incorrect, just a play on words) Anywho, I am going on record as saying I am willing to bet my life that I felt movement on Saturday night. I was lying in bed with my hand on my tummy and there goes this little nudge, nudge, nudge about 2 inches below my belly button. Haven't felt much since then, though. :-( This little critter is going to make me crazy though with these inconsistencies!!! Is anyone else frustrated with the feeling of knowing your pregnant, but not really FEELING pregnant (i.e. belly, but not big belly, feeling kinda just chubby, not pg, etc. ya know what I mean) Maybe it's just me. I just can't wait to be sitting any which way I want and little elbows and knees popping out of my sides. I have been having crazy emotional swings too. I'm just glad hubby has been working late or else I'd be driving him nuts! Has anyone seen the movie the Notebook? It's a few years old, but it's such a good little flick. Ryan Gosling ain't bad to look at either. :-)

Oh yeah, recorded movement felt at 16 weeks 1 day. :-)

mommaminchey - February 25

Hello... well I haven't felt much movement ekay either or nothing I would bet on... I sometimes think I feel movement but I don't want to get my hopes up too much. I had a doc apt on Thursday of last week and she was checking the heartbeat and she said the woosh sound was the baby kicking and moving and she said it was very active movement but I didn't feel a thing so I'll wait till I know for sure they are punches and kicks... I go back this friday for my regualr visit and I so hope I get to see the lil one on the u/s ... I love to see the growth the baby makes between visits... I will be 17 weeks this friday growing closer and closer to 20 weeks... half way yay!!! I am still ahving morning sickness and it is getting very old...I take meds for it but it doesn't help.. I slept most of the weekend... I slept till 12 on sat woke up and took a nap at 3pm till 6 pm... I haven't slept that much in one day since I've been pregnant maybe ever...lol...

ekay03 - February 25

Ya know, I always wonder if the woosh sound is baby movement or bowel movement! Is this your first? I can't keep track of everyone's history. I will be 17 weeks on Friday too! Isn't it crazy how fast the last month has gone by? I had m/s at week 6-7 and nothing other than nausea, so I don't know how you feel, although I do feel for you. I can't imagine still feeling yucky. Poor thing. I WISH I could have slept that much this weekend! Sunday it was so hard for me to keep myself out of bed and mind you I have three other children. I long for nap time on the weekend and my four year old just tossed and turned, played with the cats that kept jumpin on the bed, waved her feet in the air, talked to her Bambi animal, etc. for about an hour(she gets to sleep with mommy during naptime on the weekends). I finally told her to go sleep in her brother's room and wouldn't you know it my 2 year old woke up. :-(

Well this is my first... I guess we are both do 08-08-08... I am so excited... We are a young couple me 23 him 25 and we just got married last year so we are very new to this... I am very thankful I can sleep... Due to my fathers death we sold our house and moved into my moms house ( me and my mom are more like best friends) and we help her with bills and she does most of the cleaning and things so it's really nice to have that extra pair of hands... I am hoping the morning sickness ends soon but oh well ya win some ya lose some...lol..

hi ladies! I haven't felt movement yet either - but I'm actually not caring too much - I FEEL pregnant other ways, like I'm a total b___h and my stomach is totally pregnant looking already. so I reached 17 weeks yesterday and only 2 and a half more weeks till I find out if I'm having JAMES or CASEY!!!! at my last app when the doc was doing my ultrasound the babe kicked right where the machine was and we heard it nice and loud! It was funny but I didn't feel it.

softbreeze200 - February 25

Hey girls!! I too am feeling really anxious! I haven't felt anything that I would for sure say was movement, so I am anxiously awaiting that! And yes, I am so ready to have a preggo belly, not just this lump that looks like I have gained weight around the waist! I know it is only a few weeks away that I am sure all of that will become more apparent, I am just getting impatient! LOL! it seems to always be something to wait for!! I will be 17 weeks on wed and I have my second US booked for the 20th of March to find out the gender and check growth. I havent' had one since 7w so I am really excited to see the little one in there looking different than a tiny bean. We waited to push it back a few weeks in hopes that my dh will be home from work then to come too. I listen everynight with the doppler and I too hear that swooshing and wondered. I thought maybe it was the placenta. I too have still been sick, and still on the meds for it. I thought I was better so I stopped the other day, and I was sicker than I have ever been in my life. So I guess I will keep on taking them! At least then I can function through the day. Emotional - Yup!! I was watching curling with my dad last night at his house and I cried when the girl made a really good shot. WHAT is wrong with me?? It is curling of all things!! Yikes!! The notebook is one of my favorite movies, but I dont dare watch it now preggers. I bawled at that movie before!! It is a good one - and yes, Ryan is very easy on the eyes!! ;) We are only a few days apart - I am due 08-06-08 and this is our first too. I love being able to chat with you guys and know we are all at the same spot! Either of you in mat clothes yet?

mommaminchey - February 25

I am but I wasn't small to begin with. I am in maternity pants.. Atcually I went friday and bought my first pair... They are so comfortable... I wore them sunday and I really enjoyed them. I work in a casual office and my dress code isn't inforced so i really wear sweats most of the time... So softbreeze you most have one of those home doplers.... does it work well???

anamariaflorencia - February 25

Hi ladies, so I hear talk of "happy harmones" kicking in. I feel the opposite. I think I had an anxiety attack two nights ago. Poor DH, I kept him up about 3 hours while I cried and shook and asked him to pray over me. I seriously thought I might need to visit the crazy hospital in town. Yesterday was better, but I find myself crying all day long and everything is overwhelming...especially being $1,000 in the hole each month once June hits. I stopped getting paid the end of May (I'm a teacher) and then I'm staying at home. And having this little life that dh and I will be solely responsible for. And everything else inbetween just has me freaking out...even the little things like having to decide what to eat. Am I the only one that is feeling sad and anxious instead of happy?

softbreeze200 - February 25

It does! I rented it from tummytickles.com and it has been so good. I haven't yet had a hard time finding the heartbeat. After my m/c I found this to be great. It was so reasuring and helps make the time between appoinments not seem so agonizing long to make sure all is ok with bean. It has been great too as my dh has been away working since christmas and he can listen to the hb over the phone and feel like he is part of everything that is happening even if he can't be here right now. I too have just started wearing mat pants - the ones with just the elastic waist and they are so much more comfortable after a day at work. I too work in a pretty casual office, so I can get away with cargo type pants, so it is nice. :)

mommaminchey - February 25

Thats amazing I see here they sell some cheap ones like at walmart but idk how well those would work... I will have to check out that web site... I love having a great work envirmoment in which I can wear whatever... It makes the pregnancy so much easier... idk how you could be away from your husband for so long... It must be hard...

ekay03 - February 25

Mommaminchey, we are young too, but we started REALLY early. I am 25 and he is almost 27. However we had our first when I was 18 and he was 19. Don't recommend that! It's funny though because I say to my 7 year old 'Son, how old are you going to be when you decide to get married/have kids' and he answers '25 mom'. I don't necessarily mean 25, but the difference between having a family at 18 and then one at 25 is obviously different if you know what I mean. That being said- I wouldn't change a thing. Anyways, the doppler is a lifesaver. I still listen about 2-3 times a day (only for a minute), but I am finding the little guy moves a bit more so I have to play tag to hear the heartbeat. I am wearing maternity clothes. I have a belly, but it could easily be misconstrued as excess chub! I'm not overweight (yet!), but definitely not thin, so let's just say I am eager for the undeniable roundness of a belly full o' baby. Anamaria, try to stay positive. We are financially troubled as well (between rent, several hundreds of dollars in childcare, two car notes, and now a $450 doctor bills every month thanks to c___ppy health insurance), but I just keep telling myself it will all work out. My husband tells me worrying isn't going to put more money in the bank, which unfortunately is true as much as I hate to hear it. Our big u/s is in 4 weeks. Seems so far away, but it is my fault since I postponed it 2 weeks. Like I said, thank goodness for the doppler.

i love feeling mbaby girl move. it is the most exciting thing to me. i cant wait for daddy to start feeling her move. i found that when i eat cereal at night and then lay on my left side she starts kicking. like she is swimming. when i felt her move at first it brought tears to my eyes. it made it that more real to me.

mommaminchey - February 26

softbreeze200 - February 26

Morning gals! Ekay- try not to worry too much as your dh says- I am sure that everything will work out ok. I too am very thankful for the doppler between visits. What date do you have your US booked? I go March 19! I too bumped it back a few weeks and now I am wishing I could be going today!! lol! So impatient!! Are you going to find out what you are having??Momma - I am so jealous you can feel your lo move!!! I try to lay still at night when I can tell through the doppler that they are moving but all I feel is my pulse! Does anyone else get this?? When I concentrate on my uterus, my pulse there gets so strong and I can feel it beating out!! So weird. I can't wait to feel the little gaffer kicking around in there!! I hope you get your snow day!! I love them and have only had one this winter so far! :)

mommaminchey - February 26

Soft I too go march 19th at 10:30. I am so exicted... everyone asks me what I want but i don't care... I just wanna know... LOL. I am so happy I am feeling the baby move too it's so neat... I forget where you said you was from.. I'm in tennessee...

ekay03 - February 26

Thanks for the words of encouragement! However, I am having a damper day today :-( . Me and dh stayed up and watched 3:10 to Yuma last night (good flick by the way) and I kept my hand on my stomach the WHOLE movie and not one little movement did I feel. It is really starting to bother me, as silly as that sounds! I have so much gas this pregnancy, that to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference anyways. I'm just getting anxious. Plus I tossed and turned all night and it was just a rotten night of sleep. AND some punk at work drank my diet cherry coke that was specifically set off to the side in the refridgerator. The bottom shelf is community sodas-top shelf is personal stuff dammit! My u/s is March 24th, so I am the Monday after ya'll. Only one more month for me and 3.5 weeks for ya'll. I think I am losing the battle on not finding out and it doesn't really bother me too bad, so might as well. I wish I could get out of this grumpy funk and a lot of it really does have to do with critter moving. My coworkers (mostly men mind you) must think I'm crazy when they walk in room and I'm slumped back in my chair with my hand what appears to be down my pants, but really on my belly. We have a close office here. :-)
