Weight Gain In Pregnancy

weight gain during pregnancy is such a strange thing! I am 5'10" and started out at 133 pounds. I exercise and eat healthy. I am pregnant with my 2nd right now and I am currently 13 weeks. I have gained about 4 pounds so far. I am doing so much better with my weight gain this time around than with my first pregnancy (believe it or not). I gained 8 pounds in the first trimester last time I was pregnant. I am doing nothing different this time around, yet I am not gaining weight as fast. I have no idea why this time around I am not gaining as fast. who knows?

I'm 5'9" and started at 140 lbs. At 18 weeks I've gained almost 10 pounds, and my doctor keeps wanting me to gain more since we're having twins. It seems to me that the first 4 months are different for everyone in terms of weight gain, some lose weight some gain a little or a lot. Anything is "normal" as long as your Dr. is happy with your progress.

I'm 26 weeks and have gained about 22lbs? Where the 22lbs went I'll never know!! All I see is belly! My face arms legs etc look exactly like they did before I was pregnant! Although my b___sts are tremendous so I guess 10lbs went to my b___bs and 12lbs went to the baby! LOL- This is my first baby so I don't know if that makes a difference?

I'm not quite to my second trimester yet but will be next weekened. I started off at 139lbs and i'm 5,1" so alittle on the over weight side. I've lost about 6lbs and have stayed at that weight the whole time so far. If i could only gain around 15-17lbs this time would be great. Last time i was very sick with preeclampsia with my son and gained over 50lbs in the last weeks of my pregnancy. Starting next week I plan to walk on my treadmill and least a few times a week to keep the weight at a min.
