Wen Did You Find Out The Sex

anyone out there who found out the s_x of there baby wen did u find out how many weeks were you?And do you think that at 18 weeks and 4 days maybe 19 weeks you can tell the s_x???

Hey Angelhdfd! When I found out I should have been around 18 weeks pregnant by the concceive date, but the baby is measuring almost 2 full week ahead. We found out we were having a boy. They say it is possible to find out as early as 14 -15 weeks but I think alot of it depends on how good the person doing your ultrasound is. Good luck to you!!!

With our first we found out we were having a girl at 19 weeks 2 days. This time we found out we were having a boy at 18 weeks. It is possible to determine the s_x as early as 14 weeks though.

I am a sonographer and I just had to give my 2 cents....You will normally have a 20 week scan that you should be able to find out the s_x of your little one. ....but caseyann is right about the fact that you can sometimes tell at 15 weeks or so, but there is always a chance of not finding out there are many things that make it difficult to see inbetween the little legs...like mom's size, baby not being in optimal position, umbilical cord hanging between legs, etc....So if the sonographer just can't tell the s_x... don't be hard on him/her....being wrong is worse than not knowing at all.....best of luck

we had some complications last week and went in for an ultra sound and i am 14 weeks. The tech said there is about a 75% chance its a boy. BUT she stressed many times that she cannot be sure this early in the game and to wait to buy blue until i have my 20 week scan! lol

tiffany: yeah but i mean if you see a doodle, isn't that kind of hard to a__sume it could be a girl? i had read that at 13w, it's actually 99% accurate.

TeddyFinch....i am sure the tech was correct....but i think she was just being careful since it was earl and she didn't want to get our hopes up...plus...i am in denial...lol...i was hoping for a girl this time! But really i am excited to matter what we have! If this second little boy is anything like my first....I am very very excited! But according to the tech, there could be loads of reasons we see a "doodle" and it turns out to be a girl. so who knows. we don't care either way!

with my daughter we found out at 21 weeks and with the the one im pregnant with now we found out at 20 weeks my place doesnt do it before 20 weeks.

thanx for all of your input!!! and congratulations with your pregnancy's!!! We get to do an ultrasound may 22nd so hopefully everything will work out and we will get to know if the baby is a boy or a girl!
