What Should My Stomach Feel Like

When I rub my stomach uncer my chest to under my belly button it feels a little sore. Not painful just as if something has been streched). I am 13 weeks now and wondering if anyone else has experienced anything at all like this. This is my first pregnancy and I am so nervous about every little thing. I had an u/s 2 weeks ago and everything was great. My next appointment isn't for another 2 weeks so any help would be great. ThanKs in advance

I am 13 wks too and my stomach feels hard at times and soft at others...I have been getting sore, that is just your uterus stretching. This is my 4th baby and I am not quite showing yet...although by the evening I think I look pregnant (I am usually more bloated at night) Hope that helps? If this is your first - you will feel that streching feeling more as your baby grows:)

thank you so much for your answer. Yes this is my first and I have no idea what to expect so I get nervous about everything. I have a new dr so I don't want to drive her crazy with all my questions all the time. Congratulations on your pregnancy-what is your due date?

at 13 weeks you shouldn't feel anything under your chest area. I am 25 weeks and my uterus is only about 2 1/2" above my belly b___ton. Although I know that when you have had previous pregnancy's that your uterus pops out sooner. Remember that as your uterus streches that everything that was in that area is being pushed out of the way. I never had any sensations during this so far though. Pretty soon you should start feeling this fluttery sensations. That is the baby and It will be really lower than you think. It wasn't until my 20th week that I had this popcorn sensation of kicks. And i was really surprised how far down they go. Im like so why do I have this great big belly on top then if the baby is so low. But the dr says that the uterus is much larger than the baby at this point. Hope this helps. But every pregnancy is different and this is just my story. Oh, how thin were you prepregnancy? That might have something to do with it. I used to wear size 7-8. I wish i could wear them, I hate the maternity pants. Have you started buying maternity clothes yet? I really like H&M for trendy not "older People" styles. Good prices too. Good luck!!
