I'm on a Sunday start pill, and usually start my period the Tuesday of my inactive week. My boyfriend and I had unprotected s_x the Thursday of my period, and I started the pill again on Sunday. I'm just wondering how ovulation works when women are on the pill, and if I should be worried that we didn't use a condom on Thursday.

don't really worry, there is less than a 5% chance of getting pregnant while on the pill and even that you have to have missed 1-2 pills to get that 5% risk but be careful if you aren't ready for a baby.

The odds are something like 99.99% that you will not become pregnant if you take the pill consistently and properly.

It's very unlikely that you'd become pregnant from missing one Pill (but not impossible). A healthy couple who are not using any contraception and are actively trying for a baby have only a 20-25% chance of conceiving in each month, so the chance of conceiving from missing a Pill is extremely low.

If I understand your post right the Thursday was during your 7-day pill break (when you have a 'period'), if so the pill protects you from pregnancy during this time as well as the 21 days you actually take it.
