MelissaP, just saw your post-sorry! I think I ovulated when I was supposed to, because dh and I bd 3 times right around that time-but it does seem wierd that it took this long to get a bfp, so maybe im wrong :) pootersmum-your symptoms and timeline for testing seem very similar to me...don't give up! HOw late are you now and when will you test again? Try waiting at least a week in between testing! Keep us posted on what happens- all of you!

oh! and pootersmum, my symptoms have not been consistent the whole way through either- I was really queasy feeling for the first 3-4 weeks and now I don't really feel anything like that, so just cuz your symptoms are changing or disappearing doesn't mean that you aren't preggo!

wow thats great!!!! congrats!!! I am currently 8 days late, an keep getting negative test results.... I have never been late, I am always to the minute on my period... please help! Should I spend the money an go to the dr or wait and see what happens?

Carmen Im driving my DH crazy and myself too. I swear time has never moved so slowly. Im really wondering why hpt's can turn up negative so far past AF due dates? The other thing Ive had a LOT of is this bizarre buzzing or fluttering feeling in my lower abd. Ive read people talk about it and never had it the first time. What hpt did you use if I can ask? Thanks :)

thanks for the encouragement. please share your signs with me. i go to the doctor tomorrow so i will be able to get a clear answer. my lmp was 12/11/07 and ive taken 4 test...but i havent tested since 1/21/08. test were becoming too costy and i just figure i would wait until my appt tomorrow. i feel pregnant and my back and adomen aches so much. i have been spotting this past week. it ranges from pink to brown...and my body always feel numb...please give me some insight and i will keep u posted about my appt tomorrow

Hey there! Sorry for not getting on here sooner. I am living abroad and so our times are basically opposite to yours! Anyways-Felicia-did you end up going to the dr.? Let us know what happens! pootersmum- I actually had to just use a Korean brand test, and I cant help but wonder if on some of my earlier tests I had done something wrong ( I don't really read the language, so it's pretty difficult to know for sure if you are doing it right!) I just used a different brand and it came up positive. With my first pregnancy I used clearblue. It is REALLY strange that it could take so long to see a positive, but I have read that sometimes women's hcg levels just arent' high enough to detect it until later on. missjazzyjay-I am so anxious to hear what you find out. Is af usually pretty predictable? You have so much will to not test for such a long time! It's hard, isn't it? But I definitely know what you mean about the costs and not wanting to see another negative. Pleae let us know what's happening!

Hay Carmen. I went to the dr today and got a BFN on the urine test. I have to get blood drawn tomorrow since they dont do blood work at dr office and i go in on Mondayfor an ultrasound. Even though I got a neg on urine sample I still feel pg. Is it possible to be almost 8 weeks pg and not show in urine samples?

carmendanielle u had some patience to wait. my body is changing in ways ive never seen before. it isnt just sore b___bs its veins, bloody taste, pulls and pinches in my uterus. strong nails but weak hair, just weird things that never happened before. i dont have patience but i have too. i am only 4 days late and my af cycles are irregular anyways.

Sandy81- the waiting is horrible, isn't it? Have you tested at all yet? Your signs really sound promising! I know exactly what you mean about your body doing strange things! I was convinced that if I wasn't pregnant I had some strange disease! :) How long have you been ttc? missjazzyjay-sorry to hear that the urine test was negative! I can't say anything for sure about it, but I can tell you that from the millions (!) of forums that i read during my waiting, I know that it is still possible. I remember reading one in which a woman was 3 months along before her tests came up positive. I would wait for a little while longer and see what happens- until that period arrives I wouldnt call it over! Hope you are hanging in there. I know how frustrating those negative tests are-especially when you feel like it is wrong.

carmen- af due feb 7/8 technically i am 4 days late or so. however my period always come about 10 days late (40 day cycle?) so perhaps i might not even be considered late. so i just tested with first response (mind u since 5pm ive dranks almost 2 water bottles and grape juice and peed already a few times) and it was bfn. so 1)it might be too soon, technically maybe not even late and 2) is it possible for hcg to be too low for test but now low enuff for body to change? and 3)wat tests did you use?

p.s: in addition to the metal taste, veins i never had before, tuggin in uterus.. approx. 19 days post possible conception i had af cramps for 3 hours (which i never ever get unless its day of) so something is up or i am def sick or something.

Sandy- so a few things! I have heard that a.) if you drink a lot of water or other liquids before testing it can "water down" your urine, so that there is less hcg, therefore making it harder to get accurate results. Secondly-I think it is absolutely possible that your levels can be low and still feeling symtoms! that's exactly what happened to me. By 8 dpo I was feeling like something was up...so my body was already acting pregnant then. The early cramping was a tell-tale sign for me, cuz that never happens before af- so it sounds like you might be in the same situation! I am living in South Korea right now so the pregnancy tests are all korean! Sorry! Definitely keep posting your signs- cleary I'm no expert, but Im more than happy to discuss :) Baby dust!!!!

thank you. you are very sweet especially since you are bfp but come here to help. have you been to docs yet? i was thinking that since my period is always one week to ten days late per month technically i am not "late" per se right now. and yes i drank a lot of water and then grape juice with dinner. i am going to find a dollar store that has some to use more often than not. when do u see a doc and where are u orignally from?
