Simone - I love the charting on FertilityFriends.com. I looked at some other charts, but this one seemed the easiest to me, and also gave me the most information. You can look at other people's charts too, not that you can compare those with yours because every woman is differnt, but it's still a nice thing to do. It will also tell you if you have O'd by the temps you record and other signs. I started using it because I read last month that you can have a positive OPK and not really O. The BBT will tell you for sure if you did or not and what date it was, so it will help you time the BD better. For me, since I do AI, timing is crucial! Also, I've read a LOT of good things about a vitamin called "Fertile Aid for Women" they have that on EarlyPregnancy.com. I haven't used it yet, but I'm planning on it next month. They also have a formula for men that helps the little swimmers. I use the OPK's and HPT's from there too, they are reasonably priced and work well! theobel - did you test? I think I'll probably test 4 days early as well. Waiting is so hard! I always thought I had a lot of patience, but I guess when it comes to this, I don't!! alc - thanks for the info! My temp dropped a little this morning, but I'm not sure if it's because I tested around 2-3 hours earlier than usual. I woke up at 5:30 (thanks to the sore bbs!) and couldn't go back to sleep straight away, so I took my temp and got up. I read that some women have an "implantion dip" on their charts between day 7-10, and of course, if I had slept to my normal time, I would probably be pretty excited about the drop in temp, but since I got up so early, all it does is leave me to wonder.

Phoenix, when you chart do you have to wake up at the same time everday? This could be a problem for me because I am not in a routine right now. I guess I could always set an alarm and wake up everday at the same time. Also I have to ask......what is AL?? Did you test yet??

PhoenixK - May 13

Simone, I generally wake up around the same time of day, say between 7:30 and 8:30AM. I set 8AM as my default, and then adjust it from there if I'm too far from it. I know of people who set their alarm for a certain time of day, take their temp, write it down, then go back to sleep. I can't do that, because once I'm awake, I'm awake. This seems to be working pretty well for me though. AI is Artificial Insemination. The little swimmers go into a cup, I put it into a syringe and my partner inserts it into me. For me, it's a once shot a month deal, as my donor lives too far away for me to go back and forth days on end. That's why the timing is so crucial.

Wow, so you really have to know your body! Thanks for all the info, I think I will start charting when I return home to the States in June. Then I will know forsure if I am ovulating.

Cristalt22 - May 13

I am never late! I am so convinced I am pregnant... :S I have regular 32 day cycles I ALWAYS ovulate on day 20. I have months tracking everything, this specific month I had an ultrasound on day 20 just to make sure, the doctor said I had two dominant ovums to come at any minute. I should wait until I´m 18 dpo. I know it´s early (14 dpo) and I don´t feel weird just ga__sy. Oh I hope all of us can finally see that BFP soon!

Cristalt22 - May 13

I also chart at FF and I love it... I have my alarm clock at 6:45 and when it is time I just temp and if I want to keep on sleeping its ok, but I always temp at the same time, I think it makes a difference. Charting has helped me a lot to understand how I work, now I can tell when I will ovulate (if temps go down and then up) or get my period ( if temps go down drastically). Which is not the case this month because all my temps do is go up. I think I am not close to any of you, hehhehe I am from dominican Republic a small tropical island in the caribbean, but thats ok at least I can wait with you girls and know you are going thru the same things.

UGH, I just typed out a long post, and it disappeared! I hate that! Crista, I think if I were you, I'd test tomorrow with fmu. Sounds like you are far enough DPO that you should get a decent result by now. I'll be lucky if I can wait 14 DPO to test. I'm a POAS-aholic! I'm only 8 DPO, and already having a hard time waiting. Every time I have to pee (which is all the time) I want to test, but so far, I've held off. I was looking at some of the charts on FF, and a lot of them test positive at 9 DPO, so it's so hard to wait! I had a dip on my BBT today, not sure if it's an implantation dip, or just an off temp because I woke up just over 2 hours earlier than normal. I can't wait to see what my temp is tomorrow! Simone, yes, I do have to know my cycle and body very well. It's hard because my donor is so far away, but he's the closest one I have found so far. His wife is infertile, so he totally gets the desire to have a baby and not be able to get pregnant. He and his wife decided that since they understand TTC so well, they would try and help other couples with their journey. He really is a nice man, I just wish he wasn't so far away!

Good Morning Ladies! Second day in a row that I've woken up before the b___t crack of dawn. Not sure what's up with me, but I don't think I like it at all! Temp was back up again this morning, even wtih me waking up so early, so I'm hoping yesterday's low temp was an implantation dip. I know the chances of me actually getting preggers are a lot lower than you younguns, maybe that makes me more desperate to conceive. Maybe that desperate desire is causing me to have so many symptoms, maybe I'm just tired and not thinking clearly. I was tempted to test this morning, but at 9 DPO, chances aren't real good I'd get a positive anyway. I think I'm going to try and hold off until at least Monday, 12 DPO. Any updates, Ladies? I'd sure like to know what's going on with y'all!

Cristalt22 - May 14

Good Morning!! Today I woke up tired too, I think I had a little fever last night, but today my temps are high but not that high 97.88F. Today I think would be my 15 dpo, but still negative. I am starting to think I did not ovulate when the doctor said I would. I still think I am pregnant, I am hoping, but I´ll leave it to God, if he thinks its time ok, if he thinks it isn´t ok. Phoenix: We are all desperate! hehehehe, lets stay calmed and keep hope. I always think whenever we may think we are pregnant we start feeling things. I think 12 dpo is a good time to test. I hope you get a Big fat possitive.

PhoenixK - May 14

Good morning again! Crista, thanks for the encouraging words. I guess I was kinda in a funk earlier. Do you chart your BBT?? If you don't, you should. If you chart every day, it will show you on what day you O'd. I started charting this month because I read that you can have a positive OPK and not really O, even if you are taking meds. With the BBT though, it's a pretty certain thing that if it said you O'd, you really did. I'm glad that my temp went back up this morning, it gives me a little hope. I guess I just really hate getting hopes up so high and then having them crash back down when the witch shows up. I try to be realistic, because I KNOW it'd take a miracle for me to get preggers, but still... that little grain of hope builds and builds until it becomes a mountain, only to crash into the sea. That's all life though, and I try to just take it day by day. tryn, welcome to our little group. We have some pretty nice ladies here! I'm 2 days ahead of you, and I have the sore b___bs too! I've had the creamy/lotion discharge for 3 days now. I'm going to try and wait to test either the 17th or the 18th, IF I can wait that long! theo, alc, Simone, Looby, are you still out here??

PhoenixK - May 14

Oh, and I was kinda crampy yesterday and early this morning too. It seems to be easing off now, and it never really hurt.. it was just kinda there and I could feel it. My b___bs always hurt from O until AF, and I can never remember from month to month where they hurt and how badly, so this month I am writing everything down. I am very large chested (I cup), so they don't tend to hurt all over. The last few days they have hurt pretty bad around the nipple area and off to the left (outer) part. My nipples are also very perky the last few days, the left one is always standing at attention, and the right one is about half the time. I don't remember that happening last month, but maybe it did and I just don't remember.

tryn4#2 - May 14

Im a little ga__sy also...I sooooo cant wait until the 18th but im trying to be patient. Keep me posted ladies.

LoobyLoo73 - May 14

Still here! No symptoms here apart from the tingly bbs. Have no idea when I O'd so have been testing every 2 days (can't help myself) & so far BFNs all round. Latest I'll have O'd is Sun or Mon this week, in which case way too early. No AF anyway so I'm still in the game! Cristal & thobel- any news?? Tryn & Dani- good luck holding out on those sticks!! Keep us posted on any symptoms, always interesting to hear how you're feeling. Dani- just curious, will your donor want anything to do with the baby? Simone- agnus castus is a herbal thing that is supposed to help me O. It certainly brings AF on for me within 6 weeks but does tend to give me false pos on O-sticks so I can never really be sure. We just BD every 2 days in case! C'mon someone, give us some happy news!!!!!
