I am 8.5 weeks pregnant. I feel tired and I do Have nausea with its effect. Can I be sure that they did not make a mistake?

A mistake with what??? You sound fine to me. Not every woman has the same symptoms at the same time, so if you'r going by what a book might say or someone else's preg. symp. i'd advise you not to. those things can only give you an idea of what to expect not what's actually going to happen. i hear all these women up here talk about implantation spotting and i never had that. so she could be fairly accurate but they never exactly know anyways.
