Period 7d Late Negative HPTs

Hi, my last period was on November 30th. We are TTC and did the deed on dec 11th, 12th and 15th.
I was expecting my period on December 30th but it is a week late now.
I am not experiencing any of the symptoms as in my previous pregnancy and have taken about 5 HPTs which have all turned out (-).
I'm usually on a very regular cycle and always get my period a day or two after my br___ts start to swell and that feeling of "my period is on it's way" comes.
I have been having that feeling for over a week now but it's just not coming and the tests are negative.
I have been reading that some women just don't have any symptoms or high enough levels of hcg to detect a pregnancy till almost 8 wks.
What should I do? Keep taking home tests or visit a doc? I don't want to be hasty...how long should I wait before seeing my gyno?

Arts, your deeds were well timed. There are few women who do not at least get the "fatigue" symptom by now. True, it can sometimes take longer for hCG to rise. Test weekly and call the gyno if you miss a second period. GL!
