I cant believe I'm even asking this question, but after all of the stories i have read here and on other sites i am wondering if i could be, I have had my copper IUD for 5 years now and at first i had 6 months of off and on bleeding but for the past 4 1/2 years my monthly cycle has been very heavy and lasts anywhere from 4 to 7 days with heavy cramping alomost doubled me over in pain a few times, but this month is odd i was due for my AF yesterday July 4th but on the 2nd i had what i would consider spotting not even enough to fill a regular tampon, nothing on the 3rd, then yesterday i had a little bit again, a little earlier today and now nothing again, and its a different color then usual its usually very dark and heavy to start with and its been pinkish to a light brown..and ive also been very tired. i have not taken a test yet, but ive alway been one of those really heavy flow people. i do not have a regular OBGYN since my insurance was dropped and i know my IUD is still there because i can still feel my string..i am married and we never use any kind of secondary birth control...im confused! anyone else having this same issue?
