haha okay i asked this question to krissy the other day when we were chatting as i am not much of a cm checker..but she said creamy means unfertile...either impending ovulation or that you have alread ovulated and are no longer fertile and since you are 8dpo i would definitly say its the latter..so really its not of any importance right now as i was told..!!!sorry if i wasn't much help!!

Damn....I was hoping for a "OMG YOU'RE SO PREGNANT" Oh well....I guess I will just have to wait and see....Thanks for the reply!

do you take your temps???

Missy - August 3

Well, yea kinda - only the last 2 days so it doesn't really matter - and even so, I only have an ear therm. not a BBT so I don't even know how accurate it really is.....

I don't know if this will help you or not, but for the past few days I have had a lot of extra cm that is creamy and I got my bfp 3 days ago.

Missy, funny enuf I was wondering the same thing and made a thread, but no one ever replied. I googled it, and all the sites say that it could be indeed a possible pregnancy sign. That because your cervix is making its mucus plug that your body may excrete some of that. Something to that affect. Look up early pregnancy signs and look at v____al discharge. Im in the same boat, had lmp was 7/12, a very pos lh surge on the 25th, supposed ov on the 26th. Bd'ed every other day from last day of af until a day after supposed O, expected impending af due on the 9th. I usually have sore bbs before af, and have not had that, minor headaches, but been having more discharge. So I hope i get a bfp. I had two m/c one in march and the other in late june. So we will see, i tested this morn, was neg, but i think its still early. I got my last pos 3 days after expected af using dollar store hpt, and negs on first response...go figure, thats a 17 dollar difference...hehe. GL ladies

OK, so maybe I'll perk up a little then - there's still hope!

Here is an excerpt from a site, they all basically say the same thing.....".The amount of v____al discharge increases in the earliest stage of pregnancy. This is because the estrogen production increases with the greater blood flow to the v____a."

Missy - August 3

OK, so then maybe not....because things have been pretty dry in my panties.....Hmmmmm.....Who know - I guess I should just stop obsessing and see what happens next week.

MrsIke - August 3

the mucus plug thing kinda relates to the increased estrogen lvls to make mucus plug for pregnancy. i believe...dont quote me...lol.

well i would defintly recommend getting a bbt i got one for ten dollars..you won't get an accurate reading with a reg thermom much less an ear one...i follow my temps occasionally but i do know they if they stay higher after ovulation then thats a great sign...

Hey Missy - I am right there with you - - I am 5 dpo and lots of creamy cm for me today. Usually I get this right before AF...so who knows. Here's to the wait!!!

Missy - August 3

I am debating whether or not to test tomorrow morning, just so I can have a little peace of mind preggo or not so i can relax a little on my vaca....What due you think - AF is due 8/8...too soon?

cynthia502 - August 3

It might very well be too soon - but it might not be. If it was me, I would test, because I test constantly....I wouldn't get disappointed if it is a bfn though, because 4 days early is a little early for most women. Good luck - make sure you let us know!!!

Missy - August 3

Well, Ijust went to the bathroom and now the CM is a stringy clearish....Je*us Chrimony - Stringy, clear, white, none.....Why oh why do I care what's comin' out of my va-jayjay!!!! I dunno....What do you guys think about the early response test they sell at like Walgreens and stuff? They claim they can get a positive up to 5 days before a missed period.....

cynthia502 - August 3

I have a first response (and a digital) that I am saving to use if I get a positive on my internet cheapies. The intenet ones are supposed to be sensitive to 20. I think first response is like 25. I would say that is your best bet....although a lot of women have had good early (9 dpo) success with dollar tree tests. Good luck!!!
