Does Taking Clomid Cause Light Bleeding Before Periods

I took Clomid 50mg for the first time as I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have regular 28 or 30 day cycle and never every missed a month. This month on CD21 I had slight brown discharge and could only see when I pee. I noticed bleeding yesterday CD28 and also little endometrium discharge with dark red blood after I came back from doing exercise from gym, I thought I started with my periods but surprisingly I am back to the dark brown blood and don't see any flow. I am confused, I took a HPT and it came negative. My next doc appointment is only next week. Can anyone help me with more information.

Any early preg signs like fatigue or more peeing? An HPT will not always pick it up this early. Test again in a few days using first morning pee. GL!
