Hello everyone,
Now, I almost expect to get a bunch of flack about this but I'm just wondering what others have heard or experienced. I have heard that if you combine urine and bleach and it foams up and causes a God awful odor (worse that just bleach odor) that there is a chance you could be pregnant. I am not a scientist so I really don't know what the chemical make up is that would cause that reaction and if being pregnant even has ANYTHING to do with it but my girlfriend did it and it foamed up over the side of the cup and smelled something awful and for sure, she was preggo. I did it this morning, same thing - foamed up over the side and oh my... well, needless to say, the smell of bleach would have been a welcoming scent. Just looking for some input. I'm due to get my period next Tuesday(ish) so it's too early for an HPT so had a few minutes to try the homemade test. Thanks a bunch!!!

hey its okay to ask questions. i might try that remedy, just look for signs, once i was pregnant i knew right away like 3 day after s_x. each preggnancy they say is different good luck

hello i did the homemade test with the urine and bleach sure enough it foamed up i dont know if i could be pregnant yet lets see if i missed a period

That is indeed the weirdest thing I have ever heard. Not saying it isn't true or whatever but still weird all the same. I wonder who thought of doing that. Anyway, let us all know if you are actually pregnant or not! If you are then I may try doing that as well. My husband and I are ttc but I have a fibroid in my uterus so right now we're at a stand still unless I am pregnant since I did miss my period last month (july).

Urine and bleach will react to produce dangerous byproducts, pregnant or not. Please do not advise people to try this kind of experiment.

I have tried the bleach test and the tooth paste test in the past. They both came out "positive" but I was never pregnant. Unfortunately they are just fake tests that will cause you to get a positive result whether you are pregnant or not. :/
