Implementation Bleeding??

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for the past 6 months. This month we were a lot more conscious of ovulation date ect... my last period started on the 31st December and I ovulated on around 15th. I normally have a 31 day cycle and would be due on around the 31st of Jan. My body is normally like clock work. However, I have had some spotting some on the 24th and some today. It's not heavy at all! Just sometimes when I wipe. It started of brown on Monday but today it is more like blood colour. Could this be implementation or would it be just an early period. Any help would be appreciated. My boobs are a little tender but I haven't really shown any other symptoms.

It sounds promising but don't get your hopes up too much until the end of the month.
