hey, before i start my period i get a little niggling feeling in my stomach and get pains which i have now but i'm not due til next week and i had unprotected s_x a few days ago i was wondering would there be a chance of me being pregnant or can't you tell this soon and is it possible to even conceive this close to your period? thanks.

You are unlikely to get pregnant from s_x seven or eight days before your expected period. If there is a chance of a contraceptive malfunction two weeks before your expected period, then the story would change. GL!
