Menstruation During Attempted Conception

I've been trying to conceive for the past 11 days and my ovulation cycle started nine days ago. Tonight, which is May 29, 2004, I started what I would assume to be my period. I'm cramping and have a headache. Is is this a possible sign of pregnancy or should I try not to get my hopes up? Thank you for you time.
