Pregnant With Nuvaring?!?

Prior to my first child, I was on the nuvaring for 6+ years with no issues or complaints. Fast Forward & I'm 10 months into being on the Nuvaring again. Today I experienced the worst cramps (similar to what I can recall contractions being like).
I'm paranoid of an ectopic pregnancy (I know a few women who have unfortunately experienced them) yet I don't want to stress myself out by buying pregnancy tests just to pee on a $15 stick for a negative result.
My last cycle seemed to come a day earlier than usual while on the ring and ended on time for me to put a new one in....
Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated !!

I understand your concern. Sadly an ectopic pregnancy may not give a positive test as early as a normal pregnancy. The pain may take you to the emergency room sooner, some time before 10 weeks pregnant.
