Babygirl, people make mistakes n the best thing to do is tell ur mom. I kno it sounds scary but I had to tell my mom that I was pregnant when I was jus turnin 17. It makes things a lot easier to deal with. Dont go have an abortion unless ur sure and have talked to someone. I was told I couldnt do n e thing because of a baby n dat I have a life ahead of me, but I still do things n make my mom proud.

i was like you years ago. i had my son when i was 16yrs. my boyfriend stayed with me, we have a 10, 3 and 5mth old now. i love my kids dearly but i regret having my kids at such a young age. after my son was born i care for him but i didnt have the maternal instinct . i didnt have it until my youngest child was born. i am how 27yrs. being older makes me more wiser and a much better mother than i was at 16. i have so much guilt now because i wasnt a good mother to my son. My 2 youngest child are very lucky because im older and i now enjoy being a mother to them. at 16 i didnt enjoy being a mother but i just had to do it because i choose to have it. Abortion may sound like a very cruel thing to do but its more crueler if you bring this child into the world and you can not look after it. you are still a child yourself. being at home with a baby at your age is not fun, its hard work! i miss going out with my friends and seeing them have fun, i had a miss out on those times. You need to get your education first, that is the most important! thing! i regret not finishing school. Now its so hard for me to study while caring for my kids. you are young enjoy your life first. gets an education, travel the world , get marry and buy a house then have a child. i know its a very hard time for you now. it is very confusing, especially your bf is not taking it seriously. but be strong and look into alll options. adoptions is also another good opinon if you dont like the idea of abortion. wish you all the luck!

You really need to take adoption into concideration. Im 19 and I'll be 20 when I have my baby. My babys father loves me too death still and I know he wanted one to begin with but Im scared because I think my feelings for him are changing. I don't believe in abortion I think a child should at least have the chance to live and it not taken away from it. There are loving couples out there that want children because they can't have any of their Own.

Dear Tori, I am only 21 and so I am not old enough to be your mom, but if I was say your big sister I'd hug you and tell you that first of all everything will be ok. Here's what I really think.: I am 21 and I was 20 when I had my daughter, some would say that is still young, but I don't think so. I am financiallly secure and I would rather be a "young" mom rather than an "old" mom. But yea I do wish I waited until at least my late twenties. But there is no way I would've had a baby at 13. This is why s_x needs to wait. I am not religious, but I did feel that I had to either be married to the person I lost my virginity too or have been in a long term relationship and truly love them. I was 18 when I first had s_x and I was on birth control at the time and I knew it was something I could handle emotionally. At 13 I was still playing with Barbie dolls. Either way, you are in this situation now so I am not going to scold you, but it seems you are a very different kind of 13 than I was. I hope you can care about yourself enough to not let something like this happen again, and although I would never get an abortion right now in my life, I would have at 13. This guy is not even capable of being serious about this situation because he is just a kid, that's all there is to it. You can't expect much from him. If you decided to have this baby, I am telling you to prepare yourself to be doing it on your own. At least without him. Having a baby doesn't really change guys like it changes girls. When you become someone'sparent you have to give things up and you have alot to look forward to. proms and college, all that stuff. I at least got to do that stuff first. And even now, I am lucky to have a great family who takes my daughter on weekends but I can't just go out whenever I want like a lot of other 21 year olds do. In fact, I was pregnant on my 21st bday so I didnt even get to drink, lol. Well, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you make the right decision, like someone on this board said, and many other people I know who've had an abortion have also said that while it took them awhile to get over it, they were glad they did it, it was right for them. God bless you

Honey sometime it's like that for the young and the old.Alot of young girls your age thinks that s_x is nothing until something like this happens. It's not the end of the world you are not the first person that this has happend to and you certainly wont be the last.I hope you have some kind of support .don't make the smae mistake again.
