16 Years Of Friendship Now Pregnant One Night Stand

I've know this man for over 16 years. I've always been attracted to him. Even when we were children. After I had my second son, he started coming around and helping me out. We grew really close and ended up having s_x for the frist time. We were together for 4 months. And ended it because we were a different places in our lives. That was 3 years ago, and I recently ran into him and we started talking again for about 2 weeks, then we had a one night stand which resulted in pregnancy. Here's the messed up part, when I called him to tell him that I was pregnant, he was to busy to talk. So I'm like call me back when you can it's important. No return calls, nothing. I have a feeling he knows why I'm calling. That was 2 weeks ago and still no contact, and to make matters worse I'm having problems with the pregnancy (see post t_tle DEALING) and really no one to talk to. I'm really disappointed in him and I like to say it doesn't matter, but it does. We've known each forever and I guess I expected better from him. Am I wrong for thinking that?

no your not wrong for thinking that,, you should expect better from some one youve known for so long,,either he really dosnt know why you were calling and he really is busy,,or hes terrified....any situation you should be persistant to tell him,,,,he needs to know and for your sake you ned to know what he wants to do so you can move on and focus on your pregnancy ,,,,Wish you lots of luck :)

Don't jump to conclusions about what he might or might not know about your situation. dsmom is right- be persistent in calling him. He could just be busy....or maybe he is regretting your one-night stand. Regardless of that scenario, he still needs to take care for the child he has created and needs to know. Once you get ahold of him, let us know what happened. I hope everything turns out ok and he is supportive!
