me n my partner have been Together for 10 years. We were really excited to find out I was pregnant because we were trying for a while. He's been in prison since last month for something he's not guilty of, we didn't expect him to go so all our family and friends are in shock. We were extremely close did everything together so it is really hard to deal with him being gone. the prison keeps rejecting my visit requests and the phone doesn't work. He has written me a letter saying he's tried to contact me but the prison have to call me to get my permission but they haven't called me yet. All I have is his letters, I feel really down that he's not with me through our first pregnancy. He could be out in may as that's his early release date so he would be there for the birth possibly! But it's really hard for me to deal with this pregnancy alone and not having no idea if he's doing ok in there. He's never been in jail before so I'm not sure how he's taking it all especially knowing I'm outside and I have to cope with everything alone this isn't how we pictured having our first baby all those years ago. I've wrote to the governor at the prison explaining how I've tried several times to book visits and he hasn't been able to call me even though he has money to and I've heard no response. I'm glad he got to see our first 12 week scan but he's going to miss the 20 week and then all the other exciting parts of the pregnancy. It's really unfortunate and I feel so helpless as there's nothing I can do.
