I am 38 weeks with my first. I found out 8 weeks ago that my fiance, the man I lived with for 18 months who I was suppose to marry in June had lied to me from the moment I met him. He was already married which I knew nothing about and had four children with two different woman all living in Saipan. I knew that he had two sons but he lied to me about the mother and told me he was paying child support but found out that was a lie as well. Not enough room to get into all the details of his lies or the pain he has caused me. He didn't even tell me any of this, I didn't find out a thing until after he had gotten on a plane to go back to the Island and leave me to raise and support our son on my own. He sent me a text message from the airport telling me he was sorry but he was already gone. I am a nice college educated woman, I would have never imagined that I would be in this situation and I am very alone, very scared, I like most other people live pay check to paycheck and am quickly depleting my savings account to keep a roof over my head and pay for food. I looked into getting assistance but I am being told I make just over what the requirements are. I have been told by state agencys to quit my job and get evicted from my apartment, then someone could help then.... ARE THEY SERIOUS!! I want to work and provide for my son but don't know. I now have $20K in credit card debt and a car that is old and may not be safe. I am so stressed out. I don't know where to turn!?

Try stripping or if you are attractive enough try escorting. You can make 6 figures doing both.

Not to mention lola, I'm pretty sure that's not the example she wants to set for her son!

Hi Denise, I am pretty much on the same boat as you are. Pretty scary. My guy left me when I was 16 weeks pregnant. Have you looked into the WIC program? They provide free food and formula for up to a year after your baby is born. Also, there are alot of programs designed to help single mothers. I'm not sure what state you live in, but I would definetly look into your options. Welfare isn't for everyone:) If you make decent money, but are alone, there are so many other programs out there designed to help.....believe me , I know! I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my boy and also all by myself. Good luck to you and try to keep your chin up:)
