Being an African American woman, How do you know if your br___t get darker?, What are some signs?

well, i am a black woman and from what i know, the actual b___st doesnt get darker, just the aeorla(sp?) i have fairly light skin but i can tell that the dark part of my b___st is darker. i guess its just a matter of knowing your body.
