COULD IT BE

I'm 19 and have had a regular period for the past 11 years. I have encountered problems with ovarian cysts, but NEVER been late. I haven't been on BC for the past 2 years, and recently ended a relationship of 5 months. During this relationship we only used the "withdrawal" method. I'm on a 21 day cycle and my last period was 11/22/05( it was very light only light pink discharge)which means i should have started around 12/13/05. Here it is 01/02/06 and I still have not started. I would be around 6 weeks pregnant if we conceived, but even after 4 negative pregnancy test (all a week ago) I am still unsure. I'm have a weird bloody taste in my mouth, and my gums bleed all the time, could this be a sign of something? What about dousing my food with extreme amounts of salt....i never do this. I also have the "wet" feeling like i have started my period, but it's only alot of clear discharge. I am worried more about having something seriously wrong with my "tidbits" than being pregnant. A year and a half ago i was also told I had HPV(only the mild no symptom pre-cancerous strain) could this be related to my situation?

i would go to a clinic and get a free pregnancy test done. it is possible for you to be preggo even w/ the neg results but even if you're not, you need to figure out what's going on. it's wierd that you say your period on 11/22 was very light. did that period last the normal legnth of time? what is your normal flow like? i ask b/c having a very light period, that's not like your normal period, and only last a day or two is a sign of pregnancy. but at the same time, if you were already pregnant then, you'd be about 9/10wks now and your test results should definately come back positive. this is very strange...you should definately go to a clinic and find out whats going on. good luck and keep us posted.

no way really? this past week i thought i started my period, i went to look and it was only the extremely light pink discharge again and i expected that my "normal" heavy period would kick in by morning. WRONG! So another test was on the agenda and NOTHING...negativel. I would have thought that for sure it would have shown up if i was. So now i'm just waiting for monday when i go to the gynocologist. Which is another story. I've stuck with the same doc for the past 11 years, now i'm switching. How do i go about the FIRST VISIT??

when was the last time you saw your gyno? have you told her/him about this? the light period thing doesn't mean you're definately pregnant. it is a sign of pregnancy, but it doesn't mean you definately are pregnant. it WAS a sign for me, but when i took a test a couple days later, mine came out pos. it's just strange that you would have 2 very light periods and still a neg. result. if you've been seeing your dr. for 11 yrs, i'd call her/him tommow and make an appt for ASAP. tell them whats going on. i made my 1st prenatal appt by calling the hospital and asking for an appt w/ an OB. good luck, hope you get good news.

I didn't have a period for two months. And THEN I got pregnant. I too had hpv and had to have a lot of 'stuff' done to prevent getting cancer. Anyway, I didn't have my period for 4 months, took over a dozen pregnancy test, all comming back negaitive. I went in to see my ob/gyn sure that I had some kind of std and not quite! I was pregnant. Anyway, don't know if that helps but definitely keep us posted!

So it's the sunday before my appointment, and i've had a restless weekend. I'm just ready for some answers you know. I took another test, and again negative...i'm banking on some kind of problem with my ovaries. I'm going to a new doctor, so i'm also worried about that. I do not want to have to go through a score of test, and ultra sounds, and all that jazz unless it's necessary. How long does it take to recieve blood test results? How should i go about the first visit?
