I dont know if anyone here has been victim to date rape but thats how i got pregnant. A drug was slipped into my drink at a party, however I did not remember having s_x nor did i feel like I had s_x, so I was stupid and didnt report anything to police. Now Im pregnant and I have a good idea of who the father is, but I cant track him down...He WAS a friend of mine. I guess Im just confused. What should I do? The weirdest thing is I cant have an abortion anymore, Im too far and I dont want to adopt, I would rather keep it. It feels like my baby, I guess Im attached. How do I tell my entire family I was date raped but want to keep my baby! Doesnt that seem weird?

Just tell them. You should never need to justify any decisions you want to make as far as keeping or not keeping your child. As far as everyone should be concerned now, it is YOUR child and the biological father was just a sperm donor.. in a very very unfortunate manner.

doesn't seem weird to me at all. i applaud you for making your decisions despite what has happened and i'm glad you will stand by what you want. this is your body and your baby.

I think you are an amazing woman to follow through with your pregnancy. This is your baby!! Everything happens for a reason and unfortunately even though life may be confusing we just can't explain why things happen the way they do. I feel that you do not need to justify why you are pregnant. The fact is you are so just tell them you are expecting and leave the details out. They may criticize you and cause stress that you really don't need. Stay healthy and God Bless you!!! P.S.
