Negative But Still No Period

Okay So as of today I am a week late on my period. I took a pregnancy test, although I did it in the middle of the day not with first morning urine or having the urine in my bladder for an extended amount of time. It came out negative. Yet I still do not have my period?

You'll have to get a blood test to make absolutely certain. Those tests can be tricky. I think mine came up positive after 5 or 6 days after my missed period and even then the lines were soo faint. The boxes will say, "test 5 days before you're missed period", but that was NOT true for me! Keep us updated..

Called the lab and their closed until Jan2. Now I wont find out until then, because all docs and everything is closed until after the holidays. Now what Am I gunna do? This is so upsetting...

Try to see if another clinic is open after Christmas. I am confused why you had to wait until the next day. All my pregnancy tests came back within 30-45 minutes. Try Planned Parenthood thats where i went last time. Good luck.

their closed because here in canada they can close up for a week before and all that jazz..... i had to work right after i had the blood test taken, so i couldnt go there after. and alos they are not allowed to give results on the phone so they send it to your doc and the doc is closed until jan 2nd...
