Help! Im 30 yrs old and just found out that im 6 weeks pregnant. Im not sure if i love the father enough to be with him and although feel i could cope on my own - i dont really want to - its not really the life i had dreamed of for me and my children. I dont think i could go thru an abortion and i could definitely not give the child up as i wud constantly be wondering if he/she was okay. He is such a wonderful man - i know we could have a wicked life together but something is stopping me from just going for it?! I would really appreciate any advice anyone can offer.....thankq

Hi Rosie, you sound like you and your man are happier than most and wait till I tell you something I'm Married and when I got pregnant it scared the hell out of me, it's a daunting experience. Please sit down with your man and talk to him you may be surprised at how understanding he is. I remember feeling like my body had been invaded along with my privacy (men ask soooo many personal question hee hee) oh and of course MY FREEDOM and we were TRYING to have a baby. It's scary kiddo but you sound a lot better off than most. The most important question to ask yourself though is Do You Love Him? Good Luck.

You may want to consider open adoption. That way you can know where your child is and know how they are doing. you can even recieve pictures.

I know a girl who once considered abortion. Then she decided she wanted to let her baby live. She started searching for adoptive parents. Someone introduced her to us. She chose to let us adopt the baby out of two other couples. There are a lot of people waiting to adopt. Abortion deprives a lot of people the right to the happiness of a child as well as depriving the child the right to life. Only 4% of all unwanted babies get adopted. The other 96% are aborted. I am so thankful she chose life. This little boy I have is so beautiful and I enjoy him so much. I would not trade his life for anything in the world.

Give up the adoption stuff, please rosie DO NOT answer personal e-mails once they have you in privacy they will convince you of anything!!!

You call that advice and support? We should support whatever decision she makes including adoption. This is her decision not yours. If you can't be supportive keep your opinions to yourself.
