I just had a baby a few weeks ago. The father of my child hasn't even called me to ask me her name. This bothers me. Is there anyone whose had a child with a man who has never even bothered to met the child once or at least inquire about the child's name? Does my situtation just top the cake? I know that men can walk away from pregnancy, but this is unbelievable to me. I think about it everyday and it depresses me. It's not so depressing that he doesn't want to be in her life (I wouldn't really want that), but it's depressing that he doesn't have an interest whatsoever. I can't believe that I reproduced with someone so cold. How can you not even want to know your own daughters name???

Congrats on your little girl! Yeah my kids fatehr isn't that bad yet in that way,he'd rather be in the kids life and teach them all his nasty habbits. Well i know the feeling of you really dont want them around but it still hurts when they dont care especilly about the child. I wish i knew what to tell you but all i can say is it's low how a person can do that to their own child! Good luck and hang in there!
