My ex- husband and I share custody (split 3.5 days with each of us ) of our three daughters....ages 13,9 and 6 . I thought we were on the road to a reconciliation ...he thought he'd start dating (*sleeping with) chicks from the internet dating websites. instead ...I had my son in march and he was seeing him almost everyday...then he decides he only wants to see the baby "without me" that was about a month ago . i live in new york ...what can i expect when he gets me into court (which he is doing ) ? will the court give him the same arrangement we have with the other girs? I am strictly nursing as i did with my daughters . I do not want him to have the baby overnight...he won't be able to take care of him . now, he is h__l-bent on getting his "rights " not thinking of what is right for our son . I have come to find out he is addicted to vicodin also . any advise would be appreciated.....thanks kim

I'm not sure what the laws are in NY but I think that if I were going to court, the court would know one way or another that he is addicted to vicodin. People who are addicted on something should not have jjoint custody of children IMO. Best of luck.

i am sorry every day that i made the agreement with him and i do not want the same agreement with him with our son . he can barely take care of our daughters. will the court look at me as angry ex-wife ...he wasnt addicted to the pills before...but i do know he has been taking them for almost four years now. he has three doctors he gets Rx from . he never goes anywhere without his FANNY pack he keeps his pills in . his two moods are UP or DOWN . my kids say he is cranky and sleeps on the couch all the time . HELP !
