How Do We Tell His Parents

My boyfriend is 22 and terrified to tell his parents about the pregnancy(for good reason). His family is very conservative and concerned with appearances. I have offered to do it with him, but we are not sure what the best way to approach it is.
His mother is a bit more high strung, and I suggested he sit her down her first alone(without his dad there). Or should we make a production of it and say we need to talk to the two of you? Should HE talk to both of them? What's the best way to bear what will be taken as very bad news?
On the other hand, my parents are happy for us. :-)

Well i think that both of you going in together would look more " MATURE " on both of your parts. Both of you going in together tells his parents " hey we made this child, and we are going to be responsible and take care of it because we were both involved" ...I think if he does it on his own it is saying that you are scared and not ready for the task of mothering a child. Be confident and proud of your pregnancy. Dont act like you are hiding it. I think it should also be done with both of the parents because if one finds out that the other knew first, then things will get really bad ! Congratulations on the pregnancy !!

Im almost 17 and i had my daughter 4 days after my 15th birthday. I waited until i was 4 months pregnant so that i know for sure the baby is healthy and that theres a good chance of carring to full term. if you tell them too eary and you misscarry then they will hate you 4 ever. how i told my mom was i got a sonogram printed off and showed her... she didnt believe me so i took her to my next appt. and then she believed me when the ultrasound showed the beautiful baby growing inside me. good luck! find me on myspace if you have any questions at all! myspace.com/ernielovesbob
