how soon can u fell a movement or flutters when ur pregnant?

usually 10 weeks at the earliest considering the baby isn't big enough to bump into anything yet. is this your first child? i'm going to blame gas, but i won't say it isn't the baby because you just never know.

18 to 22 weeks is the standard. A few flutters here and there at 14 to 16 weeks is normal too, but at this point your baby is the size of a grape or so and can't move voluntarily. I'm not even sure it has developed arms or legs yet. Look at a pregnancy book that has pics and scale of a fetus at 6 weeks. it's gas honey.
