Seems like he left because he found a sweeter smelling rose, but now it has withered and he wants back in the old garden. He wants back, you still love him, and the children need him. Your marriage is in crisis, but it sounds as though it would not take a whole bunch of counseling and forgiveness to make something whorthwhile of it again.
