I never thought I will be in this situation...I am 40 years old and already single mom with one child. I am working three jobs to get by from month to month (the other guy is not supporting the child at all) but this is not the issue I am in need of advice. I had a one night stand with a married and much much older than me men. I am six weeks pregnant...and honestly if was not my intention to get pregnant. I am so scared to tell my family (I know at 40, right) because on top of everything I am white and he is black. I am not so sure I will be able to get the help and support from them. I am not sure my family can handle this kind of news... not sure what to do...

VC, what a bummer! Biracial is not the problem it used to be, but do focus on the findings that sperm of an older male is more likely to result in genetic problems. Maybe you should call Planned Parenthood at 1-800-230-PLAN. The nearest health center will answer.
