Sonogram Accuracy

Here is my dilemma - tell me what you think. I feel like I have been researching everyday for answers. I found out on Feb 4 that I was 20 weeks and 3 days - so my due date was calculated as June 21 (based only on the sonogram b/c I didnt remember when my LMP last started). I was also on birth control when I got pregnant. According to the doctor an ultrasound at 20 weeks is very, very accurate (his words). So, putting June 21 as my due date and calculating backwards - my last LMP would have been Sept 14 - then ovulation would have occured on Sept 27, making my fertile days the 26, 27, 28 and 29th. My concern is that I think my last LMP was Sept 6 or 7th (during the sugar pill week). I would have started my active pills on Sept 11 - my question - Could missing those pills once I started my active pills have triggered my system to think it was supposed to ovulate and mess it all up? I believe it can - that's why you're not supposed to miss them...becasue it can trigger ovulation at any time - so do you think my due date can still be accurate?? Sorry so long and confusing..

Stop obsessing sweet heart. I week or two wont matter!! Alot of women dont ovulate when the "should" and thats why they do ultrasounds to get an accurate date. My lmp and ultrasound was off by 5 days and the doctor changed my due date to match the date of the ultrasound. Using LMP is all general because thats saying that you ovulate on the 14th day and not everyone does. Dont worry its really not a big deal

Thanks Hannah - I try not too obsess to much, really!! All indicators, due date and meausrements every week have been right on the mark - I guess I just worry because I have no idea when last LMP was and everyone seems to go by that date...thanks for your input!!
