Im a single parent of a 3 year old with one on the way. While on an alcohol binge I slept with my son's father and a 50 something year old man I was sleeping with. Im now pregnant and pretty sure its the older man's. I let him know(via text, I was to chicken to face him) that he was the possible father and I havent heard from him. I would like some advice on what should be my next step. The older man is white and my sons father is black. Im also black so when the babys born it will be obvious who the father is. Should I still try to have a cvs test? and contact the older man?

hello dear. well - since you already think your confident on the older man, and since you have the racial factor (which mind you, many ladies in your situation would LOVE to have) I would say....save the money on the cvs test and just wait it out. It will be obvious on who the father is when the baby is born. You will know right away. :) Don't fret hun. It will be obvious. I would take the test for piece of mind and to sort out the situation instead of it being dragged out. I wouldn't rely on the color of your baby's skin. Because I know a few african american women who have had children with white men....and one can come out as dark as the mother..or fair complected.Face the problem head on and get it taken care of. You don't need to have this un-needed stress upon you. Take care and good luck!
