HCG At 15 Dpo And Down Syndrome

Hi, I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and at my 18 week ultrasound they found an isolated echogenic intracardiac focus in my baby's heart, which is a soft marker for down syndrome, being the only marker found, it only elevated my risk for DS by a 1%. I had the nuchal at 11 weeks and all was fine. Quad screening came back negative, good numbers for my age, I'm 25. Drs are saying being an isolated marker everything should be fine, and my chances are 99% the baby doesn't have DS. (Although only an amnio would rule it out). My only concern now is my HCG at 15dpo was 1785, when normal range limit is about 500. I'm looking up online and seems like high hcg's at early pregnancy might be linked to DS. Both my OBGYN and Perinatologist say very early HCG is nothing to be concerned about, specially since later my Quad Screen was negative. Anyone has a baby with DS that had high HCG level at very early pregnancy? Or anyone had high HCG levels (for singleton pregnancy) and did not have a baby with DS? ↓

Hey I don't remember exactly my numbers but but I remember my HCG's being really high in the beginning..I'm in my early 20's (younger than you) I didn't even know it was a bad thing lol the numbers were doubling every two days so the doctors didn't even mention the HCG numbers being high I just remember over hearing the numbers..lol oh great now I'm totally going to freak my self out lol I have my nuchal on the 17th.
