Well then it won't be so bad. You have some time to at least get her used to getting enough in her for you to not worry about her starving while you work, and I bet you anything by the time school rolls around this whole thing will be figured out. But just remember, if she acts funny with the formula, it may just be the brand, and you might have a way easier time with a sweeter tasting and smelling brand. Similac is pretty sweet, while enfamil is pretty tart and pet food tasting. Our b___stmilk is sweet, so it's a given that they might not jump into a formula that tastes so different from the b___stmilk.

I tried the Similac, turns out I didn't throw those free samples away, I just set them next to the trashcan because the box wouldn't fit in it (man that's lucky haha) I'm not sure if she likes it. I gave it to her a few times and the first time she was making a grossed out face, but the second time she was acting like she wanted to drink it. I pumped b___stmilk and put it in that half bottle half sippy cup thing an she drank a full ounce without crying. I'm going to subst_tute a meal a week or hopefully a meal every few days. Still, it seems I'll have to postpone my job (which will probably get me fired before I've even started haha)

Aww honey, I'm sorry. But everything happens for a reason, and you'll feel really good when your babe acts nice and secure with you while you see other kids who don't, and it'll be just because you were the type of mom who took the time to make sure that she was ready for certain things. You are a good momma Amanda, and if you lose the job just think there is probably something better around the corner. If they couldn't understand this, then they probably wouldn't be understanding to you needing to take off for a sick baby or whatever stuff comes up. So...it is what it is! But it sounds like you are getting rolling and you never know from here how fast she'll adapt.

Thanks v :) I'm not too worried about the job, it's not like it was something I had my heart set on. It was just a part time job at Michael's (it's a craft store if you don't have one around you) so I could get a replacement for that really easily. It's not like I'm just going to get up and leave her not being able to take formula. She's much more important than any job I could get.
