Te only thing any of us can tell you is take a test, if it is negitive start useing some form of birth control!! A baby isnt something you want to have at 14. you have a whole life ahead of you. Good luck!

It's also possible that you were getting pregnant and your body decided not to go through with it. Are your periods regular, was this one late? Having a baby this young will change the way your entire life plays out. Your guy doesn't care, he just wants s_x! Please get your own condoms, use them every penetration, and stay away from your fertile window days 8-16 of 28. Take a test if you are still in doubt when this period ends. Happy New Year!

If you are really scared you should take a test. I think it just may be your body changing. You're still young, so your body and periods can change and be different and it still be normal. Please look into some kind of birth control because like DB says, you have your whole life ahead of yourself.

ok i'm 14 too and i'm a month pregnant. i went through kind of the same thing as you, i got my period and i thought that i was fine then the nexx day it stopped and i took a pregnancy test and it was positive. so i think that you should just take a test and if it comes out positive just tell your bf and hope that he doesnt leave you becuz some guys arnt that good about it and they leave you cuz they dont wanna have a responsibility. if you are pregnant just tell your parents carefully some parents arent that understanding about it as mine were so just let them down slowly. if you need any help just look up my question its on here on the first page and the t_tle of it is 14 and pregnant......any advice. you can talk to me about anything and were the same age so i'll kind of know what your going through.

Well I think you are safe because of the heavy period. JT's experience does happen where people get a very light "period" or spotting and they count it as their period but they are actually pregnant. But the fact that you had a heavy period shows that most likely you aren't. You have to consider that heavy bleeding is the lining of your uterus shedding. If an egg had implanted, it would shed with the lining its implanted in. At 14 you've only been getting a period at the most 2-3 years and a lot of girls have lighter periods at first and then they hit about 15-16 and things change a little. My closest friends started at 11 and 12 and never got cramps and used junior tampons, but at 14, 15 and 16 things changed, got heavier and they started getting cramps. Now we all have been going through the changing again throughout the past year. If it was heavy red bleeding then I'd say you aren't pregnant, but I'd say that it could be a sign that your hormones are kicking in, which could mean now more than ever you need to use protection because you may be kicking into high fertility. So if you are freaked now, prevent it. Go to planned parenthood in your area and talk to them. Most of the time you will walk away with a bag full of goodies for free that will save you from complaining about not having a babysitter on prom night! Good luck to you!

Oh also, you may need to talk to your parents about the fact that you are s_xually active, or at least tell your mom you need to see a woman doctor and talk to the doctor about it. I know the idea of talking to your parents about getting you on birth control is scary, but which convo is scarier, "mom I think I need to be on birth control, I want to be safe and not sorry" or "mom and dad-I'm pregnant!" The birth control talk is a lot easier because many girls have found ways to get it done without having to say they are s_xually active. Some say they have irregular periods, and some say they are getting up in age and serious about a boyfriend and though they haven't had s_x and don't plan on it any time soon, they want to be prepared if they get caught up in the moment.

As someone who was having s_x at 14... it IS too young, no matter how you look at it. When I think of my daughter making the same stupid mistakes I did, putting herself through so many unnecessary struggles... My heart aches for her. As it does for all teens having s_x and becoming pregnant. I know how much it took for me to learn my lesson... For some reason I like to think that coming to this site day after day, giving these girls advice... I can help them realize what I had to kill and die to realize... I'm sorry about that being totally dramatic. I'm a little tipsy. I just got back from my soon to be sister-in-law's house and she failed to mention that fruity drink had alcohol in it. I've never been even slightly buzzed before and apparently I am a very depressing drunk. Oh well.

LOL! Poor Amanda, but I'm glad I'm not there. College taught me a lot about depressed drunks! They always in their night in a bathroom crying. Even if a guy they liked just said hi, "they said it mean!!!!!!" LOL! No but you're not being dramatic at all. It is true. I am older than you but I still look at my son and feel horrible because he deserves better than he got! So yeah it hurts to see people on here throwing away chances for themselves and their child. Now don't get me wrong, when it comes to those who are pregnant, these lessons are mainly to teach you to get the get up and go to give your child a good life. There are too many teens who didn't take s_x seriously and don't take parenthood seriously. There are so many examples on this site, like Tess (addyandvictoriasmommy) and Amanda, who, I feel, it wouldn't matter what age they had their children, they are going to do whatever it takes to give their child a good life.

Now that I think of it, I'm not sure if it was the alcohol or I was just PMSing lol! The day before my period is always the worst. I yelled at Harold just after I wrote that because I was feeling sad and he didn't say anything....hahaha. Usually I can control my hormones better than that, maybe the alcohol was the reason for my inability to shut up :P It was weird, the last time I had alcohol was when I was 13. I had invited my friend over because, being the geniuses we are, were going to pierce my lip with a rusty safety pin, you know.. Being the rebels that we were. Anyway I had numbed my lip with ice but it wasn't numbing very well. I asked her what else I could do to numb it, and she said "You should get drunk!!" "WOW that is a FANTASTIC idea!" We got the Brandy my grandma uses to cook with and started drinking it. At first I was afraid to, since it smelled like something that would corrode my organs, but I had a sip regardless... Had to get my lip pierced you know. Important stuff... My organs could wait. Anyway it was the single most disgusting thing I had ever tasted, so I didn't want to drink it anymore. My friend, being the brilliant person that she is, decided we should mix it with something to cover up the taste. Wow, another fantastic idea. Let's see what we've got in the fridge. Hmm we've got.. orange juice or chocolate milk? Let's first try one... then the other! See which one tastes better ya know? Well we certainly didn't get drunk but we had some freaking awful stomach aches for the rest of the night. I tell this story to farther prove my point... Some teenagers, myself included, are the freaking dumbest people on the planetttttttt ;)

amanda17 - January 5

Last night was the first time I've ever had a buzz... I've been avoiding alcohol for years. I partially blame it for turning my dad into... whatever he is. Then, I blame him more. I must find it easier than most to say no to things. *shrug*

AddyAndVictoriasMommy - January 6

beautiful nightmare - I believe since you have gotten your period you aren't pregnant. But if you are still scared, test anyways. In any case, PLEASE please please look into some kind of birth control. You don't want a baby at 14.
