Unless your doctor mentions something I wouldn't worry about it, and I think your right around target. You of course are just panicking seeing your weight go up, but it HAS to happen for your baby to be healthy. You are almost halfway through your pregnancy so to hit that 25 lb minimum that would put you at weighing about 138 lbs at 20 weeks. Just try to keep it steady, and don't worry if you go over the 25 lbs, it really does come right off. You have to realize you lose about 15-20 just going into labor, if you b___stfeed, a good 10-20 lbs will melt off of you, the only hard thing after pregnancy is retoning your body. So don't sweat it-YOU'RE NOT GAINING TOO MUCH WEIGHT. If it makes you feel any better, I weighed 124 when I got preggo with my son, I gained too much weight in my first trimester and the first half of my second, leveled off, then I went to the last appointment before my son was born (36 weeks) and I was 173. When I went into the hospital it was for preclampsia which is high blood pressure and causes edema (water retention=swelling). I weighed 181 when they induced me, and weighed 185 when I left the hospital. So because of the health problem, having my son didn't cause me to lose the normal weight because my body replaced that with fluids and some. By the time my son was 2 months old I was down to 147, 4 months-135, 6 months-122. I must add, I did absolutely nothing to get there. I didn't make it a point to diet, didn't exercise-nothing. I barely left the house!!!! Hope this helps you stop worrying
