Lately i have been in SO much pain. I cannot lay in one position for longer then 10 minutes due to serious pain in my back and pelvis. When i walk it feels like my pelvis is dislocated. I can feel it like sliding against itsself. My back feels like period cramps/contractions. I know pain can be caused in these areas by your body making room to pass the baby but it shouldnt be this painful. And ive had a baby and it wasnt anything like this with Rylie. I cant make another 17 weeks like this.

I'm sorry Newbaby :( If you think the pain is abnormal or far too much to bare maybe you should ask your doctor about it. At the very least he might suggest something to help ease the pain? Don't worry, it'll all be worth it when your little one (maybe a boy? lol) arrives.

Thanks Amanda. I was going to ask my OB Thur. but he was being a major a__s. Like he was arguing with me about whether or not i had been told my test results and when my anatomy ultrasound was. He said i was told which i wasnt, and that my ultrasound was when i was 19 weeks when my pics say 21 weeks right on them. Also my ultrasound was exactly 2 weeks before the appt. and i was 23 weeks at the appt. I think i know why he was being like that though.

Can you switch OBs? You wouldn't want an a__s helping you with your pregnancy and labor.

Well i love him as my OB. I had him my entire pregnancy with Rylie and he delivered her. All the doctors where i g say if they could chose one OB there, including themselves, to deliver the babies its be mine because he knows what to do in every possible situation. He delivered Ryan 22 years ag. I guess im putting experience and knowledge over bed side manners. Though hes been very different towards me this pregnancy because Ryans been at every appt. He dosent approve of young single mothers. Hes from the time where it wasnt like that. Hes really changed over the last few years though. Probably because hes sees so many of them these days.

Yea i just dont deal with rude people very well. Ryan said it was because i wasnt wearing my ring. I had to stop wearing it about a week ago because i have swelling really bad in my hands and ankles already.

I dont think serious amount of pain is normal. Not that fal along into the pregnancy. i would get it checked out by your OB. I mean, i didn't feel pain that made it hard for anything when i was pregnant until around 30 or so weeks when it was time to deliver was getting close. but not that soon. And i dotn think the second baby would cause that much of a difference but you never know. I would go ahead and tell your Ob the difference between this pregnancy and the last. lol maybe the little bugger is in a really odd position causing that pain. You never know, i'm sure it will be okay.

So i just left my OBand guess what? i have a dislocated pelvis. I knew it, not sure how i knew, but i did. I could just feel the things sliding against each other that shouldnt be. He said its fairly common during pregnancy with certain circ_mstances. My uterus tilts back which already put extra strain and pressure on where its not needed. Also the baby is so low and head down constantly and that also is putting too much strain and pressure. Along with being too active, everything has caused my pelvis to dislocate. Rylie was the same way and he said it could have been this was since i carried her, or carried her weakened it and this baby dislocated it. At least i know there is a legit reason for such pain. I knew it could not be normal pregnancy pain. No way.
Im also getting my swab test done today. It was supposed to be Thursday but since i live an hour from here they said they'd go ahead and do it. Right now we're waiting for the nurse who does it to get back from lunch. So hopefully everything is ok with that.

well, i had a feeling that wasn't normal pain. Not if you didn't really experience that with your first. i mean it doesn't change from easy to Painful from firstborn to second. I'm glad that you got it sorted. Anything they can do about it? Sounds excruciating.

Thanks Tess. Im glad i found out whats wrong, but unfortunately there is no treatment for it. My OB said it may go back into place on its on, or it may require surgery later on. He said some people go years and years with a dislocated pelvis not knowing that is what is causing so much pain. Ugh, i already have a jaw surgery i have to have done. I just have to pray it fixes itself. Im supposed to be on bedrest and i literally laughed out loud when he said it. Yea right. No way that can happen.
I hope you find out if somethings going on with you soon. Us mommies know our bodies and know when something isnt right. I hate when people say "its just normal pregnancy pains."
And angel actually a 2nd pregnancy is known to be less painful because your body has already stretched and adjusted to childbirth. It doesnt return completely to normal afterwards. Thats what they call "childbearing hips.' Some women are stuck with em forever.

Newbaby-- I'm glad you know what's wrong now. There's really no treatment for it? Not even something to help the pain a bit? Every time I told my OB my joints or muscles were in pain (though I'm sure no where near how you feel) he told me soaking in warm water would help... Maybe try that? Sorry I can't be of more help :(
Tess-- Sorry about your pain, too :( I hope it's nothing serious.
