ok so this weekend we traveled up to see tonies sister who lives about 3-4 hours drive away!! so that was bad enough being 28 weeks and sat in a car for hours and needing to pee every half hour!! so anyway we leave about 6ish friday evening and steven who drives up to tonies sister as he has a son with her so really he goes to see his son but anyway steven told us on wednesday his car over heats and he needs to fill up the water every now and then........i instantly had a bad feeling!! i siad to tonie what if we break down?........... he insits we,l be fine that with changing the water every now and then it will be fine so we leave at about 6ish friday night..............the first hour was fine! then we stoppped and had to wait 10 mins for the heater to cool down and so i could pee well we done all that which took about half an hour! then we set of again and about half later he needed to stop again and change the water ect.........so of we go again and 15 mins later we have stop AGAIN! this time he needed to put oil in the engine or something well he does that which takes another half hour!! then we set up and all this smoke starts pouring out of the exhaust which was apparently from the engine burning the oil!! and then the car starting filling up with the smoke from the exahust!! we were on the moterway by that point so couldnt stop!! so we had to undo all the windows so i could actually breath fresh air and then about 20 mins later he had to pull over cos the engine had over heated again!! so he spent half hour sorting that out and then whet to start the car!! well the engine seized and we couldnt go anywhere!! great!! i was crying tonie was on the phoning people trying to get us picked up! and i had to pee in the layby!! so anyway in the end emily tonies sister called someone to get us which took about 2 hours!! they then had to tow the car and the rope kept snapping so they had to keep getting out to re attach it!! in the end they had to leave the car somewhwere as it was just not repairable!! well we got to tonies sisters at about 2am!! we left at 6 and should of been there by 9.30pm latest!! well we are leaving today to go back home and he has bought another car which will hopefully get us home! so i just needed to vent!!
