You may have been a day or two too late to catch ovulation (14 days before period), but you never know. All the tests look for the same hormone (hCG), though some pick up a lower level than others. Since the hormone doubles every few days, a cheaper test a couple of days later is the way to go. Dollar Store usually has them if you ask the cashier, though Walmart is reasonable too. I usually suggest waiting until a regular period is late or light, and repeat a week later if still in doubt. Don't forget to use first morning pee, which is more concentrated. GL!
