2 Contractions With Some Pain

Here's another question for you ladies! Today I had 2 contractions...they hurt a little so I am guessing they weren't BH. They started in my lower back, and moved their way around to the lower half of by belly. They each lasted a couple of minutes, then went away. What do yo guys think? oh ya...33+ weeks

My midwife said that they are just good practice contractions. They aren't anything to worry about unless they get into a steady pattern and get closer together and last longer. She also said it's a good sign that your labor will be relatively quick. So, be thankful for those painful times because it will save you some pain later. :) Your uterus is getting into shape!

u know what happened with me today i got very small pain on my right side of the belly and last experience of mine with Land D was very good and soothing so i went again this morning. They monitored me NST and gave me 3 shots to stop very very tiny contractions iam 30 weeks almost. I feel so stupid now it could be just pain coz i didnt go pee pee today coz of tension . Iam so nervous coz this is my first baby but u know they could be just small ligament pain and i feel so stupid about myself

Lol Goldfish. Better to be safe than sorry. I am the total opposite of you. I am NOT going in unless my water breaks or my contractions are 5 minutes apart and lasting 1 minute. I don't want to look dumb. Hehehe. I'd probably be one of those people who end up having their baby on the side of the road or at home on accident.

ya sarah that what i plan to do now. i guess i panicked little too much and got those shots for no reason to stop contractions which werent painful at all.
