hmm... To hard to guess. But congratz. I will be 37 weeks on Friday, Dr checked me today and I am 1 cm, 0 effaced, but my cervix is really soft :) Hope you dont have long to wait!

Hi there, I will be 38 weeks on Thursday. At my 37 week check I was 2cm, very, very soft but not effaced at all, and my plug was gone. This is our second child too. Thursday is my appointment and I am hoping to be atleast 3cm and 50%. I have been spending atleast an hour a day on my exercise ball and trying to walk as much as I can, and stay on my feet. I am going to be induced on the 17th and am so excited. We have 2 and a half year old daughter and this baby is a boy. We chose the name Nathaniel James Venable. How old is your other child? Are you having a boy or a girl this time? As far as when spontaneous labor may begin... it is anyones guess. I have a friend who was 3cm and 80% at 35 weeks, then 5cm and 90% at 2 weeks overdue before she went in to labor. She was doing a ton of walking and also spending time on her exercise ball, and the kid just didn't want to come out. On Father's day, when he finally did make his grand entrance, he weighed in at a 9 pounds 11 ounces. What a cutie!
