Hello ladies.....well ANA...sorry to say... I went MIa cause Saturday morning I woke up at 5 am with bad contracitons. 7 minutes apart for 3 hours, and had all that bloody mucus from the cervix thinning. So I called the doc and went to the hospital. My son was born ON AUG 16th at 532pm. He weighed 6 lbs 3 oz and is a sweet sweet boy !!! You get so busy after the birth of your child...and then when you get home you spend the next week trying to catch up on sleep !!!!! I am so hoping your absence means you had your baby also and dont need to wait til next week !!!!! To all you other ladies congrats !!!!!!! Mommy...hang in there...not much longer to go !!!!!!!!!!1

WOW!! Congrats Smmon!! How exciting!! What did you name your little guy?? You knew that you were going to be early!! Good call. I am not sure who is left, but hang in there. :) It will be sad to see the Aug thread dissapear off hte charts pretty soon!! We do have an Aug mommies thread going on the infant forum though, so come on over and keep us updated with all the news of all your little ones!!

Hey everyone i just wanted to say congratulations to all the new mommies!!! I just found this page and it helps reading about other women going through the same stuff as me..My due date is actually the 28th....and i'm havin a boy! Hope everything's goin good for everyone!!!

I FINALLY HAD MY BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL! Thanks so all of you that kept me company toward the end there. I posted my birth story if you want to take a look, or you can get the short version here. 12 hours from first contraction to baby. I only pushed for about 20 minutes. All in all it was an amazing delivery. I'm recovering really well. Just trying to figure out how to not nurse her so much at night. She nurses pretty much the entire night only letting me sleep in ten to twenty minute intervals! Hooray to the others that have had their precious babies too! SM, you came early! I'm so excited to be part of this mom's club. It's just the best. I'm so smitten with my little girl.

CONGRATS Ana!! I am so happy all went well and it was good experience!! I guess this wraps up the end of our August Mommies 2008 hey?? WE have started a infant care forum post, so once you have time again, come on over and fill us in on your new little girl!! Congrats again!!
